02 The night it refused

A tool that stops is worth more than a tool that guesses.
16 spend categories had no line mapping. Instead of guessing where they belonged, it refused to finish and told me which ones.
Python does the arithmetic. The model never guesses where guessing costs you money. It preps the package for your CPA. It does not replace your CPA.
03 It moves without being asked

The first restore test passed.
Once a month it restores the backup and checks it. An untested backup is a hypothesis.

Filings, renewals, follow-ups. Each one on the calendar, with an alert set by urgency.
Every day after
It reports its own failures.
When a background job fails it files a reminder about itself, then clears it when the job recovers.

Not a privacy policy.
A file layout.

It runs on the Claude plan you already pay for, under Anthropic's rules. If a change to those rules stops it working as described and I cannot fix it, you get the unused part of your year back.

01Private by architecture
Your vault is plain files on your Mac. The engine reads them. Nothing syncs to us.
02It refuses rather than guesses
When the numbers do not tie out, it stops and tells you which ones.
03Receipts for everything
Every answer cites a file and a date. Python does the math, never the model.
04It acts, you approve
It drafts, files and reminds. It never files your taxes, trades or wires money.
05It disagrees on the record
When it thinks you are wrong, it writes a dissent memo and keeps it.
06Your whole life, one system
Each domain is isolated. Adding one is one command.
07 The founding seat
The honest part first.
- Mac only, for now. Version one is a native macOS app.
- It needs Claude Code and a paid Claude plan. It runs on yours, under Anthropic's rules.
- It has not shipped yet. Early access is targeted for November 1. The founding list gets it first, rough edges included.
- One builder. I built it to run my own life first. Support is me, which is why seats are capped at 50.
