Terms, in plain language.

These terms cover buying and using KineticOS for Mac. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. Effective October 3, 2026.

Who you are dealing with

KineticOS is made by Kinetic Matrix LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 7901 4th St N Ste 300, St Petersburg, FL 33702, USA. "We" in these terms means Kinetic Matrix LLC.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles checkout, payment, sales tax and VAT, and provides customer service for order and billing questions. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase alongside these.

KineticOS for Mac is a native macOS app that runs a personal operating system on your own Mac. It needs macOS and your own Claude Pro or Max plan from Anthropic.
Nothing is on sale today. Founding seats open with founding early access, targeted for November 1, 2026: $149 a year, yearly only, limited to 50 seats. It stays at $149 for as long as you renew yearly without a break.
At launch, plans open at $199 per year or $24 per month. All prices are in US dollars, plus applicable tax.
Your license is personal to you: install it on your own Macs, for your own use. You may not resell, share, or redistribute it.

We do not take preorders. You are charged only when you can download the app.
"Early access" means a working build of KineticOS for Mac that you download and use the day you buy. It is still being finished: expect rough edges and frequent updates.
A founding seat is charged when you buy it, and your first paid year starts that day.
"Launch" means the day version 1.0 is available to everyone. The target is January 2027. While your plan is active you get every update, before and after launch.
You get 30 days money back from the day you buy. Details are on the refund policy.

Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime through the link in your receipt, at paddle.net, or by emailing us; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
If you cancel, the installed app keeps working. Updates and support stop. Renew later and they start again.

KineticOS runs Claude Code, signed in with your own Claude plan through Anthropic's sign-in. We never see, store, or pay for your Claude credentials or usage, and your Claude plan is billed by Anthropic under Anthropic's terms, not ours.
KineticOS is an independent product. It is not made, endorsed, or sponsored by Anthropic.
KineticOS depends on Anthropic's service, which we do not control. If a change by Anthropic stops the app working as described and we cannot fix it, we refund the unused part of your current paid period.

Your vault, the data KineticOS manages for you, lives on your Mac. You own it. We do not collect it.
You are responsible for keeping a backup. The app offers encrypted backup options; if you turn them off, a lost Mac means lost data, and we cannot recover it.

KineticOS organizes information and prepares work, including financial records for your CPA. It is not tax, legal, accounting, financial, or investment advice, and it does not replace a licensed professional.
Its output is generated by AI and can be wrong. Review anything important before you act on it or file it.

Do not use KineticOS to break the law, to break Anthropic's usage policies, or to reverse engineer, crack, or bypass its licensing.
We may end a license that breaks these terms.

KineticOS is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or lost profits.
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

If these terms change, we email active customers at the address on their order at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you keep your plan active after that date, the new terms apply to you; if you do not agree, cancel before then.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Pinellas County, Florida, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring it at home.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, our refund policy and Paddle's buyer terms are the whole agreement between us.
